With 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer, I've worked in diverse international teams, across various technologies and domains, tackling both monoliths and microservices. Passionate about transforming business logic into clean, high-performance solutions. Focused on backend technologies and software architectures, while open to expand my DevOps expertise. Former Mensa member, driven by complex challenges and emerging technologies.

Work history

1. Backend Developer

   December 2023 - July 2024

   Fincore Ltd

   • Worked on a betting system that consisted of 3 codebases and around 150 microservices.
   • Developed new RESTful API endpoints and introduced unit testing in existing Go services, alongside code refactoring and resolving bugs to improve code quality and maintainability.
   • Developed a PoC service for receiving notifications from a Postgres database, and forwarding them to a number of workers via Go channels where each worker runs in a separate goroutine (lightweight thread).

2. Software Developer

   May 2022 - December 2023

   Trace One

   • Worked on a modular-monolithic software for product lifecycle management (PLM) that consisted of 3.5 million lines of code and 5 million lines total.
   • Independently customized software for an international customer, and contributed to the customization for a few other global customers.
   • Installed and upgraded several modules of a desktop product version for various customers.

3. Junior Software Developer

   November 2019 - May 2022

   OtaCo Engineering

   • Following an existing architecture, I built and maintained invoicing and customs mesoservices for an Order-to-Cash processing system in the Oil and gas industry.
   • Employed DDD, TDD, Event-driven, CQRS, and EF Code First methodologies.
   • Implemented new features and resolved bugs in a Spring Framework application for planning and synchronizing logistic streams on tank terminal facilities.
   • Upgraded an older JSP application to run on newer platforms and enabled it to run on multiple web servers for analysis and testing purposes.

4. Web Development Intern

   July 2019 - August 2019

   MSG Global Solutions

   • Written a client-server application for processing encrypted files and the first simple Spring Boot service.

5. Software QA Intern

   October 2018 - November 2018

   Endava

   • Contributed to test framework development for the official Endava website.
   • Acquired version control skills using Git and GitHub.
